System Consulting Skills Programme

This programme has been designed specifically to build upon the experience and knowledge participants attending the programme already have in working in and managing change across health systems.

It does not aim to go over basic tools and techniques when working in a change environment, but gives dedicated space and time for participants to discuss, share thoughts/ideas and debate the challenges they face in working in this space.  It is the aim that we increase not only knowledge but also confidence to do some great change work.

To do this, there will be a balance between theory and practice and what we share can be applied in ‘real life’ back in the workplace.  We build on content throughout the programme to consolidate learning and practice and ensure we deepen and broaden understanding.   There is a mixture of individual, paired, triad, small and large group working as this relates to the various types of change work we do in the working environment.

It has been designed over 4 days (with adequate space between each day to give opportunity to apply some of the learning in the working environment) with some pre-work and 2 coaching sessions offered.

  • Day 1: Friday 27 September 2019
  • Day 2: Thursday 31 October 2019
